ELVASTON MEWS – ARTICULATED FACADE

Development images of the ground floor facade.  A series of vertical timber fins can be opened to specific angles to balance between daylight and privacy.

When entirely closed, the facade presents itself as solid.

The fanlights above maintain the original rhythm of the Mews buildings, and stop the interior becoming too claustrophobic when the fins are in the closed position.
