A restaurant refurbishment in Exmouth Market, Aldgate.
‘Blackfoot’ was a concept restaurant base around innovative pork dishes. 50 covers were housed over a split-level floorplate, with toilets and kitchens at basement level. A combination of Banquette, booth, table and bar seating was provided to cater for both lunch and evening service.
The site previously operated as a Pie and Mash shop, and the refurbishment incorporated original tiling into the design, complements with a strong, vibrant palette with a patterned floor.
The existing shopfront was renovated, and permission was gained to install new timber sashes, enabling the front elevation to open up to the street in warmer months.
The project included full kitchen fitout, and installation of new extraction plant on the restaurants flat roof.
